The Workshed is a new workspace in the heart of Swindon. A stylish and well-equipped facility, it’s a fantastic option for entrepreneurs, pioneers and creative thinkers to start really growing their enterprises. It offers a variety of options for budding Elon Musks, including co-working desks, offices and workpods, all with easy-in easy-out contracts and affordable rates.

The Workshed is funded by Swindon Brough Council and is operated on a day-to-day basis by The Enterprise Network — part of Wiltshire Council. As Sanders Web Works has previously worked with Wiltshire Council on other aspects of their enterprise initiative, we were delighted to take on the new project.

With its urban good looks, one look at the facility shows how well it’s suited to a new generation of entrepreneurs. It was essential that the site’s design matched this modern feel. Working in partnership with another design agency, this was achieved by using oodles of white space and a largely monochrome palette. We think that the muted backdrop really brings the images of The Workshed to life. And with minimal text to incorporate, it was possible to give the site a chic and uncluttered look.

A single page was sufficient for the needs of the project. However, a menu button allows navigation within the page and access to a pdf containing prices. It was essential, of course, that the site was fully optimised for mobile.
