Smoking the competition with Hot Tyres

Based near Reading, Hot Tyres is a mobile tyre fitting company that can deal with just about any tyre-related issue. Their strap-line – “from lawnmowers to Lamborghinis” – neatly sums up their approach. As well as supplying a full range of tyres for ‘everyday’ cars, Hot Tyres provide specialist tyres for most types of vehicle (except motorbikes). And with 30 years of industry experience, the team is happy to tackle jobs that many other fitting companies struggle with – such as removing locking wheel nuts.

Hot Tyres service Reading, Henley-on-Thames and the surrounding area. In addition to supplying and fitting tyres, they also repair punctures, supply batteries and operate an emergency call-out service.

Hot Tyres’ owners Adan and Simon commissioned Sanders Web Works to build an e-commerce website for their business. They wanted a site that would promote the business and allow their customers order tyres online. The owners got in touch after they spotted a website we’ve built for another mobile tyre company.

In fact, this is the fourth mobile tyre website we have designed and built. Great news, because the more experience we accumulate within an industry, the better we can meet our customers’ needs. For example, we have the technical experience to avoid some of the pitfalls in designing an effective e-commerce system. We also have a good understanding of what customers are looking for in a tyre supplier.

It was important to us that we gave the website a different look to those of similar clients, and the use of the distinctive powder blue and white palette helped achieve this. We also incorporated the Hot Tyres’ existing logo and integrated their Facebook feed. Adan and Simon wanted to emphasise their company’s commitment to treating the customers’ vehicles carefully and professionally, and this was reflected in the text.

This small, friendly company brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their catchment area. We wish them every continued success with their business and their brand new website.

You can read more about the design process on the Hot Tyres portfolio page. Please also take a look at the completed site.
